Where are the tuition sessions held?
We believe that students derive the maximum benefit when they are able to work in the familar surroundings and comfort of their own homes. For this reason, it is usual for the tutor to visit the student in their home. However, should the student wish to visit us, then that is also quite acceptable.
How many sessions are involved?
We offer tuition either as a single session, or in a series of sessions, to suit each student's individual requirements.
What if a student needs any help between scheduled sessions?
All our students are able to telephone us at any time to discuss any particular study problem they may be having between the scheduled sessions. There is no extra charge for this additional telephone help.
So, how much does it all cost?
Because we are able to keep our overheads very low, our tuition fees are also very low (please contact us for details).
Do you do student's homework for them?
No, we are certainly not here to do homework or coursework for students! However, we are able to help a student positively approach any required coursework or homework by discussing and reviewing the fundamentals of the topics concerned, and by (perhaps) working through similar questions and examples that would emphasise and explain the key learning points.
What about confidentiality?
All our tuition work is strictly confidential; we make no compromise on this very important point.
We do not discuss any student, or their participation in the private tuition process, with anyone other than the student's parents or guardian.
How does private tuition fit into the education process?
In addition to offering private tuition to all students, we are very keen to build effective and constructive working relationships with local schools and colleges. Indeed, we welcome positive approaches and contacts from anybody or any organisation interested in progressing educational matters.
