About Holsworthy Tuition:

 

Holsworthy Tuition was founded in 2007 by Martyn Lawrence, who is also the Principal Tutor (NB - we have access to a small number of other carefully selected experienced tutors, professionals and specialists who we may call upon if required; all have Enhanced CRB Accreditation).

 

Our objective is to offer home based, one-to-one tuition to students of all ages who are located in mid Devon and North Cornwall.

 
Tuition sessions are conducted in complete confidence, and are specifically designed to meet the needs of each student, or group of students.
All we ask is that all participating students have energy, enthusiasm and commitment; then we can work positively together to achieve, or exceed, the desired level of success.
We aim to make learning an enjoyable, rewarding and stimulating experience for any student.
   

 

 

 

 

About Martyn Lawrence:

 
"I have over thirteen years experience in offering motivational, effective and enjoyable private tuition in Maths & Physics (both at GCSE and 'A' level); also in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering.
 
Holding a BSc degree in Maths & Physics, I am also professionally qualified as a Chartered Scientist, Chartered Engineer, Corporate Member of the Institute of Physics, & am an Affiliate Member of the Institute for Learning.
 
My previous commercial and work experience includes having held senior management positions in UK and International companies with corporate responsibility for Training, Customer Service, HR, Engineering, Health & Safety (NEBOSH qualified) and Sales & Marketing. All these positions have greatly assisted in refining the skills necessary to deliver successful tuition & training - either one-to-one or within small groups.
 
From 2003 to 2007, I was LEA Governor to a Devon school. 
Personally registered and approved by four of the UK's premier tuition agencies, I also hold full and current Enhanced CRB Accreditation."
